THE JOURNEY FROM A BLANK PIECE OF PAPER TO A SYMPHONY

The inspiration for each summit’s musical composition will be a combination of many factors: the local culture and populace, the natural landscape, the climb, and even the mountain itself. The contrasts between all seven summits are huge, and this will be reflected in the individual pieces. Once back in Norway, Håkon will arrange each composition for a 60 piece orchestra, and will be performed live in concert halls all over the country. Music is Håkon’s primary language, and the way he is best able to describe the incredible life he lives.
